A rather popular contemporary Christian singer -- Carman (Carman Dominic Licciardello) -- is having a concert here Thursday evening. Last one of his I went to was in the basketball place at SMS. Packed. NO empty seats. This town is 7000 ppl about.
I really think that in another time, he'd have been a Bard.
Way back when I was still trying to convince myself _I_ was xtian, I was a whopping fan of his. But it's been awhile, and his popularity may have slipped a bit since I hadn't even heard the name for some time. Or maybe it's just that I have been hanging out different places!

His popularity is an interesting matter: people enjoy his concerts, but they don't seem to like his music. Or rather, he's not "cool," even though people secretly enjoy his stuff.
I would have a ball at one of his concerts.
