I have no opinion on the first one - I don't even live in the state, so I don't get a say :)

That's how I know it. Courtesy of my Scottish father-in-law, who's a huge c&w fan.

Muskogee was named after the Muscogee (Creek) Indians of the area.

I'm a card carrying citizen of the tribe. *grin*

Then YOU should know, for certain!

And my mother (and her family) are the Okies from....

(for that matter, so are both sides of brother william's family - see we've just come home to our roots...)

I actually say RAY-EE-KEY

I know the second one for sure... not sure if I'm the one person who got the first one wrong or not.

I've never had to pronounce "Reiki" I get out of it by saying "...you know it starts with an 'R'??? " and get the other person to say it and i just nod.
