Hats

This is what has been happening with the fancy-bits of yarn people have sent me.

Purple fuzzy inset:

Teal w/ overlays (not sure what else to call it -- laid the contrast yarn against the base and used them as one):

Purple w/ crow beads (OK, not fancy-bits, just beads I've had around for awhile):

If I start doing more with the beads, I'll be getting a bag of plastic pony beads 'cause the crow beads are glass and could break in a dryer.

The purple in the first and third pics are the SAME yarn -- the lighting threw it off that bad.

Well, hell, you probably don't want to put the whole crow in the dryer, either!

PS. 1. Your card was the official first of my holiday; 2. Dr. Boyfriend admired the amber/garnet necklace you made. :)

I can think of MUCH better things to do with a Crow -- like play Boggle (and lose abysmally, I'm sure).
