Jan. 21st, 2004 07:34 pmwent to Optometrist today and got new Rx for lenses...she was about ready to say the "b" word (bifocals) and i got her to go for a slightly ramped up version of my current single-vision lenses.
Discussed the possibility of getting contacts for distance and glasses for reading--she says a lot of people are doing that.
Here's how much i trust this one doctor--she's NOT on my HMO. What i pay her is out of pocket and does not count toward deductibles or limits. and ya know what? I DON'T CARE.
