In my Fall 07 swap package from
brandedeclipse was a journal with 100 topics to write on. One of these was something I've been planning for quite some time. Yeah, I have a better chance of being hit by a meteorite than winning the Lottery, but here goes:
Pay off the bills.
Set up several accounts with the interest from each going to various people or causes I feel could use the help -- note, I keep control of the principle and can change the target if I wish.
The total amount here, of course, depends on the amount of the winnings. And a good tax lawyer will be helping me set it up. Each individual person involved will likely get the full amount allowed as a "gift" on that year's taxes -- it's a bit over 10k right now, I think. Which would also benefit me, as neither the recipient nor the donor pays taxes on that amount.
One thing for certain would be the Family Violence Center in Springfield, MO -- they helped me, I've been donating a bit here and there -- say, adopt a Transitional Apartment in the name of UmbraMoon Coven. Set up a center for males, as well -- women ain't the only ones that get "picked on."
Also, there's traveling that needs to be done -- Egypt, Ireland, Scotland, Italy; at least one cruise; several RenFaires... :D
Dragon*Con, of course, and a few others I've been hearing about.
Set up a MT studio. Oh hell yeah, I'd keep working.
And there are so MANY things I'd study -- especially if I didn't have to worry about grades, just understanding.
DH has his own ideas for his half :) We agree on the RenFaires, though, and the traveling!
