Meet-N-Sniff questions:
Apr. 20th, 2008 12:39 pmSince I haven't been to a MnS yet (but planning to attend one in late summer) I have a BUNCH of somewhat-relevant questions:
1) Do you take bottles and multiple imps/decants, or just one imp (or partial) of each scent?
2) Does each person bring their own decanting supplies (and toothpicks for testing), or does one person generally handle that (and if so, how is compensation handled)?
3) HOW the HECK do you keep track of what belongs with whom? Does only one person have their stash out at a time?
4) Does swapping generally take place? *crosses fingers*
5) What happensif when something gets spilled -- lynching, wergild, abject apologies...?
6) Has anyone noticed something had "gone missing" when they got home after a MnS, and was it ever found and returned?
7) what's the rarest you've taken to / sniffed at a meet?
I'm supposing that anything I couldn't stand to lose should stay home, and anything I am willing to swap can go with -- and how much of this is "bragging rights"?
For instance, I'd love to have just a drop of Voodoo Queen to test, but certainly don't expect anyone to bring such a rare gem to a public place where accidents can so easily happen!
PS -- poll in next entry!
