I have some pennyroyal oil, not essence but oil that is fabulous for keeping bugs away. It is awfully hard to get because it is also used and an abortant and so everyone is skiddish about selling it.
Jewelweed is simply awesome! http://www.altnature.com/jewelweed.htm Remember when I had poison ivy and couldn't get rid of it? *nods* It was a couple years ago, no matter if you don't remember; it was scary as hell. I had it from my toes to upper thigh and was terrified it would travel further north. This is the stuff that I used that worked, even after a trip to the doctor with antibiotics and shots didn't affect it any.
I've just now ordered the jewelweed soap and salve, as well as her bug repellent roll-on product. I can no longer use DEET products at all as that actually attracts bugs to me...go figure. I did not order the jewelweed spray this time. You're welcome to try all of them and see what you think.
