Was getting dressed for yesterday's festivities when the phone rang--"Come get Carmina!" She looks and drives like that silly deer never happened. I am so happy to have her home!
And the insurance company's "preferred shop" wouldn't have even STARTED on her until Tuesday coming up--how messed up is that?
So dressed in the same outfit i had worn for RenFaire--long green t-tunic, sandals, belt and lots of necklaces--added my cloak since it was getting a little cool, and went to get her--turned in the rental--
and headed for a small, private party at the house of friends. Which went quite well; we all pitched in with paper plates and pot-luck and cleaning up after and thanked the hostess. My sis got away with my crown and my Air Force-issue Besom, though i'll be getting those back tonight at ritual.
The Besom is AF-issue 'cause Eldar got it for me in the BX at Whiteman :D I am looking for some decals with the AF logo to put on the handle, like the ones for model planes but bigger.
