zianurayGot some brownie points coming at work -- the Lead's birthday is Sunday and she's been invited to the lake for the weekend...BUT my vacation starts Saturday and we don't have enough people to cover if we're BOTH gone. SO..."Hey, tell Boss I'll cover for ya if we have to work. And ask if I can come in Monday and save a day for later, please?"
The likelihood of working this weekend is very slight -- so OF COURSE we'll get scheduled! (Actually, I think we'll be off. It's a bit slow just now.)
This looks good and doesn't cost me much, if anything, b/c if we work the weekend I'll take Monday and Tuesday for prep and final packing before leaving for DragonCon noonish Wednesday. If i get the prep done over the weekend, I'll go in Monday and MAYBE Tuesday to save vacation time for later.
