It was my mission since being enabed to get my hands on any amount of this to send to my enabler... and I finally did and I just had to sniff it... THANK GOODNESS I wasn't that impressed. Nice, definately awesome... but there are things I love more, which means it's not something I'll seek.

No, but it was recommended to me on one of my "ISO something that smells like xxx" posts! I pouted that I hadn't been able to FIND any a few weks later, and was told "OOOh, someone was not very nice to suggest that one!" and then the concept of LE and Convergence and all was explained to me.

Now is far more fun to enable. I have given away full imps of VQ, Snowblind, old Shub (When it was still in demand before the GC re-release) etc. More then once.

Please don't ever make, like, a dragon-shaped candle (or any shape, really) scented with DB. I'd never leave the house. A DB soap? I'd be trapped in the bathtub. i ph33r U now!

Actually, any soap or candle I make can be scented with Dragon's Blood. This includes the Red Dragon in my icon or the three different dragon themed soaps :)

Oh, and if you have a specific thing -- like say, Dragon's Hide or Ladon, send me enough to do the job and I'll not charge extra. I get to keep the empty vial/bottle, though!

Ladon is actually one of the few Draconis-es I haven't tested yet. I hear it's basically Hesperides plus DB.

How much oil *is* enough to scent one candle, or one soap, then, Madame Temptress?

One imp will generally do two soaps pretty durn strong but not totally overwhelming. I do the glycerine soaps, not "real" soap, BTW.

One imp will scent a Dragon candle about mediumish -- not as powerful as, say, Yankee Candle. One imp will do about 4 two-ounce (15 hour) votives a bit stronger!

As far as I can tell, all the Ars Draconis line are DB with adds -- but what do I know? I do the "ooh, yummy" or the "ick, take it away!" and that's really about all for me!

Yeah, Tanin'iver is probably my least favorite, just because the fiery WHOOSH of the cinnamon/cassia overwhelms the DB, and I wind up smelling like skin-burning potpourri. Blood Rose (not, of course, a Draconis) sucks on me because the rose note does.

Having perused your scrapbook a bit: I do indeed think the unidentified hawk is a Red-tailed. Also, I am completely screwed because I have discovered this, and I luuurves me some amber... and this one is a perfect visual for one of my favorite GCs of all time, Blood Amber. *dies*
