I'd picked up a new canopy for vending at non-renfaire events today at Wal-Mart, and was having some difficulty getting a proper leverage to get it OUT of the cart and INto the trunk...and a young lady -- I'd guess between 16 and 18 -- paused and offered assistance!  She's quite efficient :)

And very kind to have helped, and I told her so :D

Some of 'em's ok!

I love kids like that. I'm fortunate to have a debate team full of them.

Have the best

A few weeks ago I was in line at the grocery store. There was a group of about 4 young Hispanic men, all speaking Spanish, and I feared they were upset because I was taking too long to unload my cart, because I had a lot of heavy stuff that they were looking at while they wee talking. I said to them, "I'm sorry I'm taking so long," but by the time I started to say it, one had already come around in front of my cart and started to help unload it, while another one was helping to unload the back. They got it done very quickly and also helped the checker, who had no sacker, reload the bags into the cart. I was so impressed!
