I mean, WTF????    For less than 6 ounces, if sent in an envelope?  SOMEbody's getting over.....

Anyone making a LUSH run (or large order) anytime soon?  'Cause this shampoo works on my flaky scalp....but I'm NOT paying THAT much for two bars!

I live in Missouri, at LEAST a four-hour drive from the nearest LUSH store.  I love the Soak&Float shampoo bar, but canNOT talk myself into paying TEN dollars (and eighty-four cents!) shipping for two bars.  I could order ten bars, which would be $11.27 shipping, but I'll be bald before I use that much shampoo.

I have a business also, and many of my products are very heavy for the size (candle wax being very dense), so I understand that some of your products would cost more to ship than others -- but two 1.9 ounce bars?

Is there any way you might be persuaded to pop two 1.9 ounce bars into a 6x9 inch bubble mailer and toss them this way for somewhat less than the posted shipping cost?

 
Edit:  Two days later and still no reply.  Is it a holiday week in Canada or something?

Isn't that just awesome? *snort* I adore Jungle but the shipping is obscene and I'm not near a store. Have gone without for a year or so now. Someone on the swaps comm offered to get it for me, but quoted me a shipping that was only a wee bit less so I passed. I mean I get Lush uses boxes, yada, yada.. but a private mailer can just slap it in a padded mailer and send it along for a lot less.

*sputter* Yeah....I lose sales alltime b/c it costs big to ship candles (being so dense) that it just grates when I see this. FOUR bloody OUNCES and it'll fit dandy in a padded 6x9 mailer.

Try seeing if you can find the same lush product on amazon. I know amazon carries some lush stuff and they have much more reasonable shipping then the lush sight.

Ok, this kind of stuff I know. You are being charged for 1 lb man weight if it's going UPS. Even if it only weighs 5 oz altogether with the box. They are probably adding in the material (i.e. the box, and any padding) and a handling charge in the shipping price.

Yeah, it sucks.
