Coincidence?

So we have one non-broom-closeted Witch at work, right? Yeah, me. Today when i get in, there's this tract on the evils of Witchcraft lying on my machine. Actually, i was just a bit irritated at first--whoever it is COULD just TALK to me, right?

Then i showed it to the supervisor...and his reaction....well, he took it so very seriously i almost got scared. he was NOT happy, said it was harassment and i did NOT have to put up with it, took it directly to HR and instructed me to call HR immediately if anything else showed up, etc.

Any ideas who?

Not really. Know several people i'd bet money it was NOT, a few it MIGHT have been.....Robin says it was there when she came in at 0630. Jay left at 0630, didn't recall anyone around to leave it. Hmm.

Eldar is worried about it, says good idea if i start parking right by the guard shack.

I dunno. I decline to let it bug me...yet.

Oh ick! I hope that the trip to HR will at least cause a memo to be put out warning everyone that such behavior is not acceptable, is in fact illegal in the workplace, and is grounds for dismissal, etc.

your supervisor was right to get upset and turn it into HR. your faith is of no consequence to anyone else and it is harassment and also slander to out and out call you and what you believe in evil. i would take it very seriously too. i agree with elder.

Your supe was very right. Though, considering it was just a tract, I'm doubting the necessity of parking next to the guard shack yet.

As for the tract itself... so lacking tact. Oy.
