I have thought about it, but don't know enough about tats yet to know what would be good -- the only artist I've asked about it said it HAS to be vaseline -- ick! -- or it'd mess things up. (Though I'm not too sure he didn't have another motive -- like making one hisself!) If you have other info, lemmee at it!
I think vaseline has petroleum in it, which is a HUGE nono, but maybe he was talking about the lotion or something. Duane would be able to tell you more about what is needed, as he's gotten significantly many more than me, lol. The best thing I've used is the Burt's Bees hand salve.
I used a rosemary oil mix when I got my last one. Tat Goo is good, like Duane said. Some artists recommend Lubraderm (sp?) perhaps because of the limited additives and no petroleum? Dunno -- didn't ask.
I'll ask John and Dallas for ya when I get this next one. Or I'll take you with and you can talk to them if you want! *smile*

Do you see a problem with an added antiseptic/cytophlactic agent like Lavender oil?
