Not what they expected....

Last year, about this time, some of my co-workers were tapped to put up a Christmas Tree in the small breakroom. I was sitting there reading, it being not-time-to-clock-in-yet, aware of what was going on but not giving it any attention. Suddenly, one of the women looks at me and gets this "look" on her face...sort of between horror-struck and curious...and blurts: "Oh, I guess you don't like this, do you?"

"Are you kidding? What could be more Pagan than a Yule Tree? Fertility symbol, Yule log, return of the sun-god, witch-balls, Valkyries, holly even if it's fake, and you're putting a Pentacle on the top! WooHoo!!"


For some reason, she didn't seem to like that.

Wonder why.

Hello! This is a random "I just noticed you friended me" comment! Hi! *waves* I'm not adding new friends for the moment--please don't take it personally in anyway. I'll probably still drop by and say hello from time-to-time. :) I just have become sort of overwhelmed by the size of my f-list.
