How usual is it for the Dacschund to let a human open her mouth and take out something she's chewing on without snapping or growling?

(Jazzy had something and we weren't sure what it was--and yes, i gave her a treat afterward!)

I can open my ex's dingo's mouth and take out whatever she's eating. Your dog should let you take food from its mouth, since you're (theoretically) pack-leader and have the right to do as you please. Good doggie you have *nods*

That's kinda what i was thinking....but i know other people who just won't try it at all and say they get snapped at, etc.....guess we know who's alpha there, huh?
