Sep. 25th, 2005 11:57 amHand them puppies OUT. You never know when one'll result in a call! I passed some around months ago when I was going to Witches' MeetUp at the Borders in Springfield...(would be going still, but work schedule changed and I like second shift better anyhow) and yesterday I got a call. A local feller is doing catalog-orders for "World of Products" or something similar and he takes along soaps, etc made by local artisans...and he wanted candles to go with for baskets and such.
So Eric has a few of my samples and I'm trimming those pewter pendants with cord and sometimes beads which we should be handing off Friday before I go to the timeclock. I set a price and he takes 25% -- which is quite reasonable -- and he stores things in a flea market booth between times, so it has a better chance of going somewhere.
Isn't costing me anything extra, and might work out well, so figured it was "Worth a Try" (tm).
