Cats and Nip

Anyone know how much 'nip is too much? I planted a 12" pot last year, and Garf slept curled up in it quite often, as well as chewing (gumming) the leaves.....also I spilled a fair bit from a bag and he was ON it like a flash.....dozed for quite a bit after.....

IS there such a thing as "too much 'nip"? _He_ doesn't think so!!

From my experience, cats will only play with catnip as much as they want... they won't OD on the stuff. Ten cats around a catnip plant isn't the same as a frat party. ;)
