zianuray50 hours last week--in odd increments. 10 Monday, as usual....8 tues....
A--"Can you come in early tomorrow?"
me--"That's my night to stay late."
A--"I'll clear it with (the boss). We really need someone--two people are out."
right, she just doesn't want to let anything sit for 30 seconds. 'need' is WAY too strong a word.
So 12 hours Wednesday...Boss calls Thurs:
"Can you come in early? (someone) called in sick."
10 Thurs, and 10 friday.
Remind me to not answer the phone when caller ID says "WORK".
and what's that word? "NO"? I need to practice that.
But i'm off (though tired, cranky, irritable and indecisive) this weekend. "Volunteers Only" again.
