Writer's Block: Theme Dining

[Error: unknown template qotd] tultema and I discussed "BUNZ" a few years ago as an alternative to "Hooters" -- young, well-formed men in tight leather pants instead of busty young women in midriff shirts.

AND this is my second draft of this post; damn Vista to the ninth circle of hell! And the cursor keep jumping about.

The second, which umbramage and I have been tossing about, has been done -- sort of. Medieval theme, wenches in bodices (bodici?) and menservants in tights or trews, proper tipping encouraged, songsters and jesters having the option of doing a set instead of paying for supper. Several-course meals, not to order but what is available fresh and local as far as practical. If you won't eat pig, don't come on the night we're serving pig. If you can't find something to eat you're too durn picky. (Of course, health issues would be accommodated as possible.) Discounts for diners in garb, with feast gear, etc.
Don't know as I'd want the indoor jousting I hear about -- them hosses is BIG!

They have a Bunz(Buns?) out here in KC, or at least they did when I worked a Hydroplane race a few years back. Hooters wore orange, Bunz wore hot pink. Hooters was pretending to be a family restaurant at the time, Bunz was honest, but they also didn't have 'the wings'.
