decentish fast-food, mainly--or caryout--Cracker Barrel, Steak n Shake, small family diner....Rick (husband) is type2diabetic, so we need to know where is real food available or if we need to bring a picanic.
i got the packet--think i still have yr number. will double-check.
May not be there exactly at 8, but likely before 9.
There is a lot of stuff up on Wornall (a few blocks west) in the 95th-75th sort of range. No Cracker Barrell, or Steak and Shake, but there's decent Greek, Chinese, Mediterranean, Indian, pizza, pseudo-Irish pub, burgers and bar food, etc. right up the way, as well as Wendy's, Burger King, Church's Chiken, and some more fast food (I think). Will be glad to point you in the right direction.
