Question for Ebay sellers
Nov. 20th, 2007 01:40 pmSo I put a Crypt Queen set up, and it sold. Sort of.
I had put in the notes that I expected communication within 3 days and payment within 5 days of the auction's end, which was 17 Nov -- and yes, I know, I'm jumping the gun here. I sent an invoice through Ebay that day. I sent a message/email through Ebay today asking if she still wanted it, since I hadn't heard ANYthing yet -- I mean, the few things I've "won," I've been all happy about it and want stuff to get here fast, right?
SO: IF this person doesn't contact me and doesn't pay, what would YOU do? Just relist it? How long should I wait for contact/payment? How many times should I "nag" her and how often?
If someone flakes on you, does the SELLER have any recourse? Can I block this person from bidding on other auctions?
So far she has good feedback, 10 all positive and she's bought from the Lab auctions, so...???
EDIT -- just got this from her:
Yes... definitely still want her... just haven't been on the computer as much as I'd like. I'm a teacher and its a crazy time of year. Right now, I'm traveling and have limited connectivity. Would it be permissible to pay after the holiday when I'm more settled. I'm afraid if I pay now from the road it won't go through since I'm literally relying on picking up someone elses wireless connextion and it often times out in mid session??
if not let me know and I'll figure something out.
Hmmm...guess she figures being a teacher means she doesn't have to follow directions? </endsnark>
And I HOPE to heaven she's NOT an English teacher....shouldn't she have looked at the end date and figured "Oh, I won't be able to do that"? So not a Math teacher either, perhaps! Right now I'm not feeling too charitable or flexible about what I asked for. Think I'll give it a couple of hours before I compose a reply.

If payment is not received by 24 November, I will re-list the item and leave appropriate feedback. This allows two days grace.

EBay Advice?
Jul. 26th, 2007 01:51 pmI'm thinking about putting some BPAL bottles up on EvilBay. I've not done this before. Advice/suggestions/offers so I don't have to do this all welcome :)
